*The Ras Laffan Petrochemicals (RLPP) project is funded by Chevron Phillips Chemical. The main contractor for the project is a joint venture between Samsung Engineering CO., Ltd. and CTCI Corporation, along with various construction units, including AMECC, a leading Vietnamese enterprise specializing in the manufacturing and installation of heavy industrial equipment. The project represents a significant breakthrough for the global petrochemical industry. It is a large-scale initiative that includes an ethylene production unit and related utility facilities, being constructed in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. This project is designed to become one of the world’s largest ethylene plants in terms of capacity once completed, playing a crucial role in meeting the global demand for ethylene.
